December was a good month for me here at the base, but it had it’s tough moments. It was difficult to be back in Herrnhut, sitting through lectures everyday after being
on outreach in Hungary back in November. I started getting homesick for the first time. I either wanted to go home or go back on the missions field. But God has
pulled me through, and we were very blessed with incredible speakers during the month of December, which helped a lot.
I also had a wonderful Thanksgiving (although unlike any past Thanksgivings I’ve
had). And my Christmas break in Spain was a great time of relaxation, which was
much needed as I am about to leave for outreach.
I had three more opportunities to lead worship during the month, which I have been so grateful for! And God has been doing some more soul cleansing in me, healing and restoring. For the first time in my life, I feel like I am 100% “Mindy.” I’m
who God created me, and it is such a wonderful feeling to
be so free!
